DC4K - DivorceCare for Kids

Overview: Some children struggle deeply with the separation and divorce, while others seem to bounce back quickly. In the long run, all children are affected. DivorceCare for Kids, DC4K, will help minimize and eliminate the short and long-term negative effects of divorce on your children’s schoolwork, emotional health and spiritual life. As your children begin to heal from the pain and confusion, their relationships with you, God and others will grow healthy and strong. DC4K provides a safe, fun place where your children will:

Learn to understand their feelings
Express their emotions appropriately
Feel better about themselves
Develop coping skills
Be introduced to biblical concepts that will bring comfort

DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

DivorceCare, DC4K, and GriefShare are open groups...that means people can join the group at any time during the course. These courses will be offered again starting in January 2011, and any sessions that were missed can be picked up then.
