LTP

This an incredible time of worship when we pray, sing, and examine Scripture together. Our goal at LTP is to allow youth to have a comfortable, fun, relaxing atmosphere where they we can encounter the Almighty Lord and listen to what HE has to say in His Scripture. LTP meets Wednesday nights, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, in the church gym. This night is focused on Bible teaching, and is for Middle School and High School students. We fellowship, worship, and spend time learning what God has to say to us by examining the Scripture!

First Baptist Youth Ministry exists to teach students who Jesus is by teaching the Bible, to develop youth into balanced disciples through sound Biblical teaching/discipleship, and to strengthen the students’ faith by encouraging them to serve the LORD through loving their neighbor, to know the one GOD and creator of all things, and to grow in fellowship with Jesus. We are here to introduce youth to the full life in Christ and to provide them with a place to grow. LTP meets Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, at the church office. This night is focused on Bible teaching, and is for Middle School and High School students. We fellowship, worship and spend time learning what God has to say to us by examining the Scripture! “This is eternal life, that they may know you the One true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3

Sunday School

Sunday School is an opportunity for youth to engage Scripture in age and gender specific classes that allow for discussion and provide community. We believe that Sunday morning provides youth the opportunity to grow with their parents. We believe that Sunday morning is a time for youth to experience corporate worship with the entire congregation.

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups are designed to give youth a place to connect and grow within a small community that can lift them up and walk along side them throughout their experience. In order to develop balanced disciples within the FBC youth group, we provide an opportunity for in-depth study and discipleship through small groups for High School and Junior High students. These small groups are intended to develop deep meaningful relationships between youth as they grow to know Christ more. They meet on Sunday night from 6 to 7pm

Friday Night Bible Study

Friday Night Bible At FBCB we desire to destroy that which is static and stale. In an effort to engage scripture in a verse by verse study. John leads though a verse by verse discussion through a book of the Bible answering hard questions that are often ignored. Meals with students Sometimes questions cannot be answered in a large setting or even in a small group setting. John and Stephanie both are available to have lunch, breakfast, or dinner with all students at any time available. We long to see change in students, and we realize that students may need something deeper than a program can do. Therefore, we are available for students and families. Summer Trips FBCB takes a number of different summer trips that provide controlled environments for growth and passion.
