Children's Sunday School
Sunday School is the Bible teaching, reaching, and ministering arm of the church. God-called, trained men and women lead age-graded departments every Sunday morning at 9:15. Greeters, stationed at the entrance to our Family Activities Center, will welcome you and guide you in finding the right classroom for your child. The Sunday School hour consists of times of age-appropriate group Bible lessons, individual and small group creative activities, and games and other activities, all centered around the Biblical truth of that day's Family Bible Study lesson, which correlates to the lesson taught to parents and older siblings.

G.A.s, R.A.s, Mission Friends
Mission Friends for preschoolers, and Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors for elementary age girls and boys, are the mission education groups we offer. The focus of these groups is on missions…what it means, who is doing it, how we can help, and how we can be personally involved. These groups meet on year-round on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

AWANA
"Reaching kids for Christ-a mission we'll never outgrow" is the motto of our church's Awana program. This organization, for children in 3 years old through 6th grade, meets every Sunday from 5:00-7:00 PM. Divided into age groups, Awana clubbers work hard in Scripture memory, learn good sportsmanship as they compete in group games, and experience enjoyable Bible stories that translate into real life.

Children's and Preschool Choir
Children's and preschool choirs meet Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 pm except during the summer months. There is currently a younger children's choir (1st through 4th grades) and older children's choir (5th and 6th grades). Musicals are presented each year and each group has the chance to sing during the evening worship services. The children learn the importance of musical praise as well as skills in working together.

Vacation Bible School
First Baptist Church has one of the largest annual Vacation Bible Schools in the area. Each year our VBS is a great success!!
