Missions Ingathering

Each year we spend one Sunday focusing on missions. We encourage our members to give to our missions offering, separately from their tithing.  Some members give all year long, while others take this day to give a special missions offering.  We use our missions offerings according to Acts 1:8 - "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,"

For our church, Acts 1:8 giving looks like this:
         Jerusalem - Ruby Williamson local missions: 10%
         Judea - Mary Hill Davis State missions: 15%
         Samaria - Annie Armstrong North American missions: 25%
         The ends of the earth - Lottie Moon International missions: 50%
