John Elkins,
our Student Pastor, came to join the staff of FBCB in September, 2006.
John and his wife, Stephanie, feel blessed to teach the youth at First
Baptist Church, Brazoria. They have a passion to see youth grow to become
amazing disciples of Christ through His word. John and his wife graduated
from Baylor University in May of 2004. John and Stephanie served for two
years at a church in Greensboro, NC before coming to Brazoria Texas. While
in Greensboro, Stephanie earned a Master's of Music in piano performance
and John began his Master's in Divinity at Gordon Conwell Theological
Seminary. In July of 2006 John transferred to Southwestern Theological
Seminary at Houston, Texas. 
John
and Stephanie have been blessed with two little girls, Julia and
Ellianna. John
and Stephanie believe the LORD is moving the church in America towards
renewal and that families are the central agent for change in the church.
As such, they desire to reach entire families in order to
bring them into the larger family of Christ. We hope that you would consider
joining the family of First Baptist for worship.
