special, inerrant, revelation of Himself to mankind, is placed at
the center of all we teach and do. The staff, church leaders, and
members believe the Bible, and work to see that Bible teaching is
a priority at First Baptist Church. |

Worship
Praise
and worship that is biblical and uplifting characterize our worship
services. The Word of God is preached boldly and unashamedly, as
Christians pray that it will "penetrate even to dividing soul
and spirit, joints and marrow; judging the thoughts and attitudes
of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 NIV)

Sunday
School
Bible
study small groups meet each Sunday morning at 9:15 in age-graded,
age-appropriate classroom settings led by God-called, well trained
teachers and directors. Our textbook is the Bible, God's Word, for
every age, babies through senior adults. Family Bible Study or Explore
the Bible by LifeWay is the commentary help we use.

Discipleship Training
Making
disciples is at the center of Christ's marching orders given to
us in Matthew 28:19-20. Therefore, that is our goal in all we do.
In an effort to fulfill this goal, special interest discipleship
training classes are offered on Sunday nights at 5:00.
